Ushers

An usher’s responsibilities and role within the Body can be characterized by the gifts of "helps" mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:27-28. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. God has designated in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues. An usher is an essential member of the Body of Christ, distinguished by their divinely bestowed ability to assist. "Helping" encompasses the concepts of grasping, understanding, perceiving, and addressing a disputant. It is imperative that they are saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and lead a righteous life in the sight of God. An usher should embody love and concern for people, possessing a servant's heart. Ushers greet and welcome attendees as they arrive at the church. They distribute bulletins or programs to congregants. Ushers assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a seamless flow during services. They aid in collecting offerings and managing the collection process. Ushers provide guidance during emergencies, ensuring that safety protocols are adhered to. They respond to inquiries and offer assistance to both visitors and members.

Tract Team

Some members of the tract team are called to the office of Evangelists, but all members are committed to doing the "work as outlined in 2 Timothy 4:5.” But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry”. Members of the tract team distribute tracts which are short, simple presentations of the gospel message, printed in convenient pocket size, designed for easy distribution and use. They are saved and filled with the Holy Spirt and committed to a lifestyle of continuous prayer; they understand that success in witnessing is simply sharing Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit and leaving the results to God. There is no substitute for prayer.
